On Wednesday, May 7th (12:30pm-1:30pm), Christopher Skrable, University Community Service Center (UCSC) Associate Director, Veronica Vegna, Italian Language Coordinator and Senior Lecturer, and Ana Lima, Portuguese Language Coordinator and Senior Lecturer will give a presentation on the Chicago Studies Program.
As you plan for your courses for the next academic year, the UCSC invites you to take advantage of the resources of the Chicago Studies Program. The goal of Chicago Studies is to help you and your students make connections between coursework and the wealth of resources available in the city of Chicago, in the form of (1) guest speakers, (2) field trips, or (3) experiential learning projects. In addition to providing consultation and logistical support, UCSC also offer Chicago Course Connection grants (up to $750) to defray expenses.
Seating is limited, so let us know if you will attend–send your reservation to Michael Berger — email@example.com.
Light lunch fare will be provided.
