Chicago Course Connection Grants

Monday, April 8, 2013 from
12:30 – 1:30 PM in
Cobb 210 (2nd Floor – CSL)

On Monday, April 8 (12:30pm-1:30pm), Amy Chan, University Community Service Center (UCSC) Director and Associate Dean of students in the University, and Veronica Vegna, Italian Language Coordinator and Senior Lecturer, will give a presentation on the Chicago Studies Program.

As you plan for your courses in the spring quarter and the next academic year, the UCSC invites you to take advantage of the resources of the Chicago Studies Program. The goal of Chicago Studies is to help you and your students make connections between coursework and the wealth of resources available in the city of Chicago, in the form of (1) guest speakers, (2) field trips, or (3) experiential learning projects. In addition to providing consultation and logistical support, UCSC also offer Chicago Course Connection grants (up to $750) to defray expenses.

Lunch will be provided.
