The Department of Linguistics at the University of Chicago is pleased to be hosting the 30th Comparative Germanic Syntax Workshop (CGSW30), May 22-23, 2015.

Call Deadline: 5 January 2015

We invite abstracts for 30-minute talks (followed by 10 minutes of discussion) on any aspect of Germanic syntax to be presented at the 30th Comparative Germanic Syntax Workshop, including diachronic syntax and the interface between syntax and other components of the grammar. This workshop will be held at the University of Chicago, 22-23 May 2015.

Abstract Guidelines:

Abstracts should not exceed two pages (at least 11-point Times New Roman font, with single spacing and margins of at least 2.54cm/1 inch; 8.5×11” or A4), including examples, diagrams, and references. Abstracts must be anonymous and submissions are limited to one individual and one joint abstract per author. They should be uploaded in pdf format via EasyChair. The extended submission deadline is Monday, January 5, 2015. Notification of acceptance will be sent by January 27, 2015.
