Daniel Pratt at the Literature and Philosophy Workshop

Please join the Literature and Philosophy Workshop for their final meeting of the quarter, which will take
place this Thursday, December 1st, at 4:30pm in Foster 305. They
will be discussing work by Daniel Pratt, PhD Candidate in Slavic
Languages and Literatures, on “Gombrowicz’s Gombrowicz: The Self among.”

The paper investigates Gombrowicz’s notion of the self in relation to
aesthetic subjectivity as part of a broader project to trace the
development of the post-Kantian philosophy of identity and aesthetics
in Central European literature. The paper is available to download on
