In her film Little Voices from Fukushima, director Hitomi Kamanaka moves between two communities impacted by nuclear disaster- an area in Belarus that saw the effects of Chernobyl, and a community in Fukushima. Kamanaka looks to Belarus to see what, if any, lessons there might be for Fukushima’s residents.
