1. 문학관련: 6.15민족문학인협회 (남북이 함께 2006년에 결성한 조직)의 집행위원
2. 겨레말 큰사전 편찬위원: 남북의 학자 각각 10명이 참여하여 공동의 사전(약 30만 어휘)을 만드는 조직
II. 민족문학연구소 소장
민족문학연구소는 북한의 사회과학원 산하 문학연구소와 매년 합동 심포지움과 책을 출간한다. 2006년 강경애에 대한 공동 연구 단행본 출간. 그 외에도 동시대 문학에의 대안적 접근시도, 한국근대문학의 재해석, 국제주의적 연대 작업을 함. 국제주의적 연대 작업의 일부로 일본의 식민지하의 조선, 대만, 만주국, 동남아의 문학을 비교 연구하는 심포지움을 두 번 개최.
