The Slavic Forum is an annual conference organized by the graduate students of the Slavic Languages and Literatures Department at the University of Chicago. The conference meets for a weekend, in the Spring, and gives current graduate students an opportunity to present working papers, collaborate with peers, as well as, now, lead them into publication with a web-based journal database of papers-in-progress. The Slavic Forum has been an intellectually stimulating venue for young scholars and it is our hope that it will continue to attract young minds to participate and engage in academic discussion.
