I'm a graduate student in the Program for Writers at the University of Illinois at Chicago. I teach a composition course on the social impact of technological advancements; and a fiction writing course in which students are assigned a collaborative online fiction project. I'm interested in new ways of bringing technology into the classroom and hoping THATCamp will give me some ideas.

Other projects/interests include narrative psychiatry, experimental fiction, and queer and gender theory. With Karli June Cerankowski, I'm editing a volume on queer and feminist approaches to asexualities. I blog at Montevidayo (http://www.montevidayo.com) and Mildred Pierce (http://mildredpierce.wordpress.com).
