Alex Lee is a fifth-year graduate student in the Program in Classical Languages and Literatures in the Department of Classics at the University of Chicago. His main interests are Greek philosophy and science. Currently he is studying modes of argumentation in Plato, and how these relate to Plato’s engagement with contemporary culture and politics. Alex has also been pursuing his interests in both Greek mathematics and computing in the humanities by working as associate editor for the upcoming digital publication of the Archimedes Palimpsest.
