Ted Cohen‘s book Thinking of Others: On the Talent for Metaphor has taken its place on The New Yorker‘s top ten list. James Wood, a staff writer for the magazine, put together the list of his favorites of 2008. He calls Cohen’s work “tremendous.”
Cohen is Professor in the Department of Philosophy, the Committees of Art and Design and Interdisciplinary Studies in the Humanities, and the College. His previous book, Jokes: Philosophical Thoughts on Joking Matters, is out in paperback.
