We at the Material and the Code are pleased to announce the full program for the screening and exhibition that will accompany the symposium. Welcome to The Material and the Code: Disciplinary Crossings of Cinema and New Media! This is a two-day event hosted at the University of Chicago’s Film Studies Center, on February 26 and 27, 2010. It will include a screening, an installation, and a one-day symposium of leading scholars of both cinema and new media. See the about page for more information.

As time goes on, we will publish information on the symposium, screening, and installation, as well as links of interest to those interested in both cinema and new media.
