In the tradition of Germany’s popular Christmas markets, Christkindlmarket Chicago is now one of the city’s major events in the lead up to the holiday season. Crowds flock to this particular market to check out the large variety of foodstuffs on offer. From sauerkraut to sausages, it can all be washed down with a hot cup of traditional Glühwein. Other vendors, many of whom hail from Germany, offer up some great potential gifts including cuckoo clocks and beer steins.
Location: Daley Plaza, 50 Washington Street.
Dates: November 25th to December 24th.
