See the Lyric Opera… for free!

Your fellow MAPHer, Sharon Harris, has brought the following opportunity to our attention:

Full-time U of C students can see Lyric Opera dress rehearsals for FREE for three operas this season. I think it’s for Verdi’s La Traviata, Strauss’ Die Fraue ohne Schatten, and Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin. Simply go to the Department of Music office in Goodspeed Hall, right as you step off the elevator on the third floor, present your ID, and fill out a brief application for the College Opera Circle. The most inexpensive student tickets are $20, and those aren’t even available for La Traviata.

The first one starts next week–drop in and fill out your application.

I think this may be a limited offer (only so many seats), so if you’re interested you may want to act fast.
