Loughridge, Dierdre (AB, 2004)
Deirdre Loughridge received a Dissertation Completion Fellowship from Penn to finish work on her (still tentatively titled) dissertation, “Technologies of the Invisible: Optical Instruments and Musical Romanticism.” She is also participating in the Penn Humanities Forum (theme: Virtuality) as a Graduate Fellow. Her article “Haydn’s Creation as an Optical Entertainment” appeared in the Winter 2010 issue of the Journal of Musicology.
