La Napoule Art Foundation offers Artists-In-Residence a unique environment of interdisciplinary collaboration and creativity at the Château de La Napoule in the South of France. Each session, eight Resident Artists of different nationalities and disciplines (literature, music, design, film, visual and performing arts) are selected by a committee of notable art professionals. The La Napoule Art Foundation seeks applications at two levels: a) artists of national or international distinction, with well-established reputations, for whom a change of scenery might offer fresh inspiration; b) emerging artists with a record of solid achievement and potential, for whom an appointment as a Resident Artist might contribute to professional advancement.
Studio/work space, living accommodations and all meals are provided by the Foundation. Artists requiring additional funding for travel, materials, equipment, or home expenses, should apply to other sources for support. The session runs from February to March.
