Thanks very much!

By the way, to anyone reading: although Peter is too modest to plug his own phenomenally great philosophy podcast, I am under no such restrictions! I can hardly recommend it highly enough.

Where else can you go to hear an entire episode devoted to Xenophon's portrayal of Socrates, or the ancient Greek Sophists, or the Cyrenaic philosophers of the Hellenistic period? Not to mention eighteen or so episodes on Plato. An indispensable resource for professional and independent philosophers alike.

Just wanted to say this was an excellent episode, perhaps even better than usual but they are always great. I felt it was at a higher level than some other podcasts recently done on Hume in other series. Good stuff, keep it up!

As always, this is an excellent episode. May I suggest that you consider having a discussion on Thomas Reid for a future podcast with, say, Gideon Yaffe or Nicholas Wolterstorff. Oftentimes discussions of Hume, including this one alas, give the impression that resistance to his views during his time stemmed (primarily) from religious prejudice against his atheism and naturalism. Or otherwise, they jump to Kant (which this discussion doesn't) giving the impression that he alone took up the challenge Hume proffered. A discussion on Reid would be a needed corrective against both of these perceptions. Keep up the good work.
