On Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at 1:30 pm the Center for the Study of Languages will conduct a workshop on the use of the H2 Zoom (Digital Audio Recorder) and the free recording software program Audacity. These two recording options can be used to make pedagogical materials or as an aid in accessing student competency. The workshop will be held in C 210.
This is a hands-on training session, so please bring a lap top with Audacity already installed–installation instructions for Audacity are attached to this message. (If you do not have a lap top the CSL will provide you with one for the workshop.) The CSL will provide the H2 Zoom recorders.
If you plan to create audio materials for teaching or will be recording your students, we encourage you to attend. If you plan to attend, please let me know because space is limited.
