For techies: about 600 Kbps stream, which is considered VERY poor and is impossible to watch on a, say, 42″ TV.

To my knowledge, the best online movie quality today is from http://RussArt.com – 2.2Mbps stream. These guys are also “etnic” – they offer only Russian, ex-USSR, and european movies.
