RSO: Eurovision Screening, IHouse, May 14

A message from our friends from the European Students Association:

Hi all,

we hope you’re enjoying this quarter, and are ready for a bit of popular culture.
European Students Association in cooperation with the International House’s Residents’ Council is inviting you to
EUROVISION screening,
which will take place in the dining hall of the International House on Saturday, May 14th, at 2 pm.
Eurovision presents songs of contestants from all over Europe. Come and see what European songs are like!
In case you don’t like the performances, you can enjoy a variety of free food and snacks which will also be served.
We’re looking forward to seeing you!

RSO: German Language Table, European Students Association, May 5

Hey!

We hope you survived all the midterms, and now have time to use your intellectual capacities in a more practical way – speaking a different language!

ESA board has prepared for you a German language table. Join us on Thursday, March 5, at Bartlett lounge in Reynolds club, from 9 to 10 pm. Even if you don’t speak a word of German, you can change it; or at least get some good Central-European food. We hope to see you there!

ESA screens Ostře sledované vlaky (Closely watched trains) ( Czechoslovakia, 1966), February 17

This Thursday, February 17, at 7pm, in Harper 135, we offer you an opportunity to watch an Oscar-awarded movie Closely watched trains (Ostře sledované vlaky, 1966). Although this movie is a bit older, it is still quite popular in former Czechoslovakia. If you’re wondering why, come and see it!

In order to make your movie experience even more enjoyable, we’ll be also serving snacks and drinks. We hope to see you there!

European Students Association Study Break

I hope you had a good Thanksgiving dinner, enjoyed Black Friday shopping, and now you’re ready to finish off this quarter!
