Fulbright Fellowship Workshop – Graduate Students

Fulbright Fellowship Workshop on Thursday, May 10 at 12:00 noon in Classics 110

The Graduate Student Affairs will discuss the following fellowship opportunities for students who will be enrolled in a UChicago graduate program at the time of application (Fall 2012) and who wish to study or do research abroad.

· Fulbright IIE U.S. Student Program: research worldwide; U.S. citizens;

· Fulbright-Hays DDRA (Doctoral Dissertation Research Abroad): research in non-Western world areas; U.S. citizens or permanent residents;

· DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service): year-long research in Germany; international students eligible;

· Georges Lurcy Educational Trust: year-long research in France; U.S. citizens.

No preparation or registration is needed for the workshop. Applicants to these fellowships must make an advising appointment with Graduate Student Affairs, preferably this spring or summer. Students who need accommodation or have questions should contact Brooke Noonan, brookec@uchicago.edu.
