American Exchange to Serbia 2011 Program, WorldChicago

Please find bellow a message from our friends at WorldChicago:

We are excited to announce an opportunity for Chicago-area adults and students to participate in the American Exchange to Serbia (AES) in March 2011 as part of the Serbia Youth Leadership Program (SYLP).  The AES in March 2011 will be comprised of 15 American students and 3 adults from various communities throughout the United States that hosted the SYLP participants throughout 2010 (WorldChicago administers this program in Chicago).  Two students will be selected from the Chicagoland area to participate.  This two-week exchange will begin in Belgrade, providing the group with an overview of Serbian culture and youth rights and involvement.  The SYLP alumni will be responsible for designing the local community programs in their towns, where the Americans will be hosted for five days before retuning to Belgrade for synthesis, reflection, and dialogue workshops about the program.
