and Alexander Telalim
Show runs through November 30th
Our November offering at the gallery features the evocative work of two accomplished artists, Vassilen (Vassi) Vasevski, and Alexander (Sasha) Telalim.
These two painters are friends and have much in common. They are both Bulgarian born and have have achieved Masters degrees from the Academy
of Fine Arts in Sofia, Bulgaria. Both have had their works exhibited widely across Europe and have shared their considerable talents broadly in the American art arena. And both of their work captures beautiful women in meditative states. Hence the name
of our show–Shared Dreams.
It has been said of Vassi’s work:
“…Delicate and discreet, his paintings stand unencumbered by multilevel symbolic messages The metaphoric expression gives away to flowing transitions of color, to a longing for tranquility and spiritual harmony….These paintings represent an intensified state, a concentration of emotion that seeks peaceful tranquility hidden behind the closed eyes of a woman.”
And of Sasha’s:
“His inherent creative freedom and his ability to reveal the internal essence of the object bring life to everything his brush touches on. Telalim’s pictures are engendered in a peculiar meditative state – both the key to the “magic garden” and the flower that we carry away.” –Newspaper “L’Elsace”, France“… a dream that goes beyond reality… ” –”Literaturen Vestnik”, Sofia
