Dvořák: Requiem: The Grant Park Orchestra and Chorus provide a rare opportunity to hear Dvořák’s richly expressive and passionate choral masterpiece; this work was among the most popular choral works of his lifetime. The Prague Committee of Chicago Sister Cities International will support this program through a special evening gathering on Friday, August 13 at 5:00 p.m., prior to the concert, at the 312 Garden Tent (yellow tent on the east side of the Jay Pritzker Pavilion) in Millennium Park. Refreshments will be on a cash basis. A special section will be reserved in the tent as well as the pavilion seating bowl, on a first-come, first-served basis.

When: Friday, August 13, 6:30 p.m. AND Saturday, August 14, 7:30 p.m.
Where: Millennium Park’s Jay Pritzker Pavilion
