U of C’s Golosa to perform at the Russian Literary Salon, June 19

Please join us to celebrate Russian culture and true folk music!  All songs were brought by Golosa – the members of which are practically all American students and professionals – from Siberia and will have English translations.  All of the proceeds from the event will go to their next journey to Russia – to bring back more beautiful songs.

The event will take place at the Computer Systems Institute, Saturday, June 19 at 6pm.

8950 Gross Point Road, Skokie

(There is free parking around the building and is only a ten-minute walk from the Skokie Swift Yellow Line for those who are not driving)

$15 regular/10 students (with ID) and kids will let you in.

Since a fairly big crowd is expected, it would be greatly appreciated if you could bring any kind of folding chairs or stools – in case we don’t have enough seats for everybody!

Please feel free – though you are not obliged! – to bring any treats or drinks.  It is always a nice addition to our lively socializing during the famously cheerful breaks between acts.
