The School for Advanced Research (SAR) is pleased to announce the new Christopher Smeall Fellowship in Anthropological Linguistics as part of SAR’s Summer Scholar program. The Smeall Fellowship is awarded to a pre- or post-doctoral scholar in anthropological linguistics to complete an article-length project. The fellowship period is June 15–August 10, 2010, and includes a $1,000 stipend, a residence and office on the SAR campus, library support, and an allowance account.
