RSSProf. Jonathan Larson, Assistant Professor of Anthropology at the University of Iowa, will share his paper “Sentimental Kritika: Hazardous Dialectics and Deictics of Accountability in Socialist Secular Criticism”. Prof. Larson’s interests include the political economy of language, the acquisition and practice of sociocutural knowledge, and sociocultural processes in time and space. He has conducted most of his fieldwork in Martin and Bratislava, Slovakia. Time: 4:30pm, October 21. Location: Wilder House (5811 South Kenwood Ave).
