Professor Stanislav Markus – The Geopolitical Impact of BRIC (Moderator)
Stanislav Markus is a professor at the Department of Political Science at the University of Chicago. Stanislav Markus’s research aims to answer how rule of law emerges in the economic sphere, particularly in the areas of corporate governance and property rights. Markus has done extensive research in Russia and Ukraine, including a large-N survey of firms in both countries. He is an Academy Scholar at Harvard and has also spent a semester as a visiting scholar at Peking University.
