The Washo Project will be a strong presence at the Workshop on American Indigenous Languages to be held later this week at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Eric Morley will give a paper on “Washo stress assignment and suffix ordering”. Robert Peachey and Kjersti Stensrud will give a paper on “Switch-reference in Washo revisited”. Justin Murphy and Alan Yu will give a paper on “Evidence for moraic anchoring in Washo”.
