[久之浜(福島県) 31日 ロイター] – 福島県久之浜の沖合。ドンという音とともに、漁船「正栄丸」の甲板に多くの魚が水揚げされた。中にはカニや小型のサメも含まれているが、この魚介類は食卓に並ぶことはなく、放射能検査に送られる。 2011 年に発生した東日本大震災で東京電力<9501.T>福島第1原子力発電所の原子炉がメルトダウン(炉心溶融)を起こしてから、日本政府はこ の海域での商業目的の漁業を禁止している。一方、東電は放射能汚染水が土壌や海に流れ込まないよう対策に追われている。 正栄丸の船長、八百板正平さん(80)の獲った魚がかつて販売されていた市場は、今もがれきと化したままだ。震災の後、久之浜の漁師たちに残された唯一の仕事は、魚の汚染レベルを調べるということだけだった。 「自分たちの魚に誇りを持っていた。ここの魚は全国的にも有名で、私たちはそれなりの暮らしを送っていた。今や残されたのはサンプリング調査の仕事だけだ」と嘆いた。 福 島第1原発の原子炉建屋には1日400トンの地下水が流入し、汚染水が増加している。東電は対策として、汚染される前の地下水を1日100トンくみ上げて 海に放出する「地下水バイパス計画」を立てたが、地元漁師からは「断固として反対」との声が上がり、折り合いがつかないままだ。 (略) 現地では将来への不安やストレスが問題化している。多くの元漁師たちは仕事や家族を失い、ほとんど見知らぬ隣人たちと仮設住宅で生活している。東日 本大震災で発生した津波で、漁船約2万8500隻に加え、久之浜のような漁港も319カ所が被害を受けた。水産業における被害額は推計で約1兆2600億 円に上るとみられている。 久之浜の漁師は約40人が命を取り留めた。大漁なら月に数十万円の収入があったが、今では被災者への支援金で何と か生活しているのが現状だ。サポートセンターを運営する長谷川秀雄さんは、「中年の男性にとっては仕事が全て。他人と関わることが難しく、酒に溺れるケー スもある」と指摘する。 東電のバイパス計画に漁業関係者らが反対する背景には、東電や政府への不信感がある。震災への対応が不明確で、放射 能リスクに関する明瞭な情報がなかったことなどがその原因だ。「バイパス計画は安全だと言うが、彼らはこれまで原発が安全だと言ってきた。それがこの有様 だ」と八百板さんは語る。 全文はアングル:福島第1原発で進まぬ汚染水対策 、魚を失った漁師の苦悩 英語原文:Fukushima fishermen forced to test fish for radiation via Reuters (updated title: Rising radioactive spills leave Fukushima … Continue reading
