原発の安全神話の崩壊に伴って「安価神話」も吹き飛んだということだろう。
「安い発電コスト」を最大の売りものに、原発は推進されてきた。その前提が失われたのである。「脱原発」の方向性の正しさが、また一つ裏付けられたことになる。
福島第1原発事故を受け、政府のエネルギー・環境会議のコスト等検証委員会が、電源別の発電コストの試算結果を公表した。
原子力の発電コストは、従来試算より最低でも約5割高い1キロワット時当たり8・9円と算定し、廃炉や賠償費用を考慮すれば火力並みになるとした。
