The Annual Technical Meeting of Society of Engineering Sciences is held annually at a US university, to promote the free exchange of information on the various disciplines of engineering and the fields of physics, chemistry, mathematics, bioengineering, and related fields. This year’s is October 12-14 at Northwestern University’s Norris Center on the Evanston, IL, campus. The session organized by Argonne National Laboratory, “Energy: Nuclear Technology Status”, is scheduled for October 13 and includes 16 papers by world authorities from Argonne that explain nuclear technology and discuss current research, including work in related fields, such as materials science and applied mathematics.
