There are a plethora of events being put on by each division so there will be PLENTY to see and do, but we wanted to draw your attention specifically to the event where MAPHers will be making a big showing.

MAPH Reunion!

April 13th, 2010 § 0 comments § permalink

Dear fellow MAPHers,

It’s time once again to eat, drink and be merry, like Social Hours of yore. Come to the fourth annual MAPH reunion on Friday, June 4th: Join fellow alums from all classes, current MAPHers, and favorite faculty to reminisce and reconnect.

This is of course part of activity-filled Alumni Weekend that University of Chicago plans every year—but we can’t have our reunion party without you! Bin 36 proved to be such a great location last year that we’ll be back again this year, from 7:00 to 10:00 PM at 339 North Dearborn Street in downtown Chicago. Your admission will get you unlimited beer, wine, and heavy appetizers, and if you register by April 23rd you’ll get $10 off the regular entry price of $20. We humanities types can all use that, right?

To take advantage of early registration, you can register online now at http://alumniweekend.uchicago.edu. Remember that there is an entire program of events planned for the weekend, including classes, tours, and of course more parties. For general information about alumni weekend, please contact the Alumni Association at alumniweekend@uchicago.edu or (800) 955-0065.

I look forward to seeing you June 4th!
